Born in Milan in 1973, Stefano Ferrante studied at the University of Milan during his youth. Later, he resumed his studies at the Faculty of Oenology in Bordeaux. He then landed in New Zealand to work at the Daniel Schuster Wines Estate. After his return to Italy, he founded Domaine Montecampo in the Veneto region. This property is renowned for being one of those that produces the best wines in the country.

Winemaking
The grapes are half-dried in ventilated rooms, in bins, for 120 days. Maceration takes place for 7 to 8 days. Vinification takes place at low temperature. A slow fermentation then takes place between 4 to 6 weeks. Aging then takes place in Slavonian oak barrels for 2 years.

Tasting
With a garnet color, this balanced wine opens with notes of wild berries. It is majestic and velvety, richly fruity.
