Frédéric Magnien - Morey-Saint-Denis Blanc Les Larrets

Vineyard
Frédéric Magnien represents the fifth generation of winemakers in his family. With experience abroad and a degree in oenology, he established his own wine merchant business in 1995.
The first mention of Morey dates back to 1120, a place of refuge for the Cistercian monks in the 14th century, who likely owned many vineyards and even a winery as early as 1306. The appellation stretches from Gevrey-Chambertin to Chambolle-Musigny, covering 148 hectares and comprising approximately 80% Pinot Noir.

Winemaking
Traditional vinification followed by aging in oak barrels for 18 months; no new oak is used.

Tasting Notes
A rare white Morey-Saint-Denis, this wine is rich and complex. Intense minerality is present on the nose, which also contributes to a beautiful tension on the palate. Aromas of white flowers and a touch of fresh almond make this a superb gastronomic wine.

Serving suggestion: Served at around 12°C, this wine pairs perfectly with sea bass with hollandaise sauce or roast veal.

Grape varieties: 50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Beurrot, 25% Pinot Blanc
Soft and full-bodied
Alcohol: 13%
