Beauvoisie Reserve
Beaujolais - Brouilly AOP
Vineyard
The AOC Brouilly is one of the 10 Beaujolais crus and produces only red wines. Noël Briday owns an estate encircling Mont Brouilly, near Belleville-sur-Saône, and his vineyard extends over 6 communes and has a total surface area of 1,330 hectares. This is the largest appellation area, in size and yield, of Beaujolais crus. The climate with three influences remains the same as for the entire Beaujolais sub-region. The brand has belonged to Maison Richard for several years.
Winemaking
This is a semi-carbonic vinification, a traditional Beaujolais technique consisting of vinifying the grapes with their stems when the vat is saturated with CO2. Fermentation thus begins inside the berry which contains all the future fruit and perfume of the grape.
Tasting
The wine is fruity with a beautiful structure, marked by the granite terroir of Mont Brouilly on which the grape variety thrives. The wine is at once supple, fresh and delicious. We find a beautiful bouquet of fruit on the palate.
