Shipping is free for all orders over €250, including any discount, in mainland France, excluding islands and hard-to-reach areas.
Shipping is free for all orders over €500, including any discount, in Europe, in countries eligible for delivery, excluding islands and hard-to-reach areas.
The delivery options below are not necessarily offered at all times on the website. Some of them may be validly deactivated. The customer will necessarily opt for a choice offered on the website.
For any delivery to an area considered difficult to access or remote by the carrier (including islands, mountainous regions, gated communities, etc.) resulting in an additional cost, Javapublishing (la cave cellar) has the right to cancel the order, unless the buyer chooses to assume this additional cost. Except in cases where free postage is permitted, the delivery costs and terms are as follows:
UPS Standard Delivery France: Delivery of Products within mainland France (excluding islands and remote areas, depending on the carrier), by UPS, in compartmentalized cardboard packaging specifically designed for transporting wine bottles.
When ordering, it is essential to specify the recipient's telephone number, any building access code, or any access restrictions.
Standard Delivery costs are a flat rate of €10.90 per order, regardless of the number of Products ordered. They cover the preparation and packaging costs of the order and the shipping costs of the Products. Delivery times are generally 1 to 7 business days from receipt by JAVAPUBLISHING (the cellar) of full payment for the ordered products. Any order placed from Friday to Monday is generally picked up the following Tuesday. To facilitate contact with the carrier, a phone number is required when placing the order. All other building access information is required. UPS delivers the package(s) in person, or, in the recipient's absence, or in the event of occasional delivery inability, drops them off at a UPS relay point within the recipient's geographic area (within an acceptable radius of 15 kilometers). Hand-delivery and home delivery are therefore not guaranteed, which the buyer expressly accepts. Home delivery does not require an appointment, and the recipient is informed that in the event of absence or inability to deliver in person, the package may be dropped off at a relay point.
A UPS tracking number may be sent to the recipient by email. This email does not come from JAVAPUBLISHING but from a third-party service provider. JAVAPUBLISHING changes the order status to "shipped" if this is the case. If the buyer does not receive any information within 8 days of ordering, they must contact JAVAPUBLISHING, which will provide all necessary information, including the carrier's tracking number (contact@javapublishing.com).
A buyer who has not received any news of the shipment 8 days after purchase must contact JAVAPUBLISHING. In the event of a returned delivery refused by the buyer without just cause, or unclaimed, or undelivered due to insufficient information about the delivery location, or because the delivery location is inaccessible (digital code or secure enclosure, etc.), the actual delivery costs will be charged to the buyer, as will the cost of a new shipment.
The buyer is advised that relay drop-off is one of the Standard delivery options and that such drop-off cannot give rise to any claims. If the package is dropped off at a UPS relay point, the buyer must retrieve it within 4 days of its drop-off. In the event of a return due to exceeding this deadline, the buyer will be responsible for the actual cost of the return and the new shipping. If the buyer prefers to cancel the order, the actual cost of the unnecessary shipping will be charged to the buyer and deducted from the refund.
The buyer must inspect the package and its contents upon delivery. They must refuse any package whose contents do not match their order and, at the very least, contact JAVAPUBLISHING immediately if they notice any anomaly.
UPS Standard Delivery – UPS Pickup Point: Delivery of Products within mainland France (excluding islands) is provided by UPS in compartmentalized cardboard packaging specifically designed for transporting wine bottles. The ordered Products will be delivered to a UPS pick-up point selected by the buyer from the list provided when ordering, after checking the UPS Standard/UPS Pickup Point option.
The UPS Standard/UPS Pickup Point delivery fee is a flat rate of €10.90 per order, regardless of the number of Products ordered. This fee covers the preparation and packaging costs of the order and the shipping costs of the Products. A tracking number may be sent by email to the recipient. This email does not come from JAVAPUBLISHING (the winery), but from a third-party service provider. JAVAPUBLISHING will change the order status to "shipped" if this is the case. If the buyer does not receive any information within 7 days of placing the order, they must contact JAVAPUBLISHING, which will provide all necessary information, including the carrier's tracking number (contact@javapublishing.com).
The buyer must collect their package within four days of receiving it from the UPS relay point.
A buyer who has not received any news of the shipment 8 days after purchase must contact JAVAPUBLISHING. In the event of a delivery being returned and refused by the buyer without just cause, or unclaimed, the buyer will be charged the actual delivery costs, as well as the cost of a new shipment.
If the relay point is unavailable, the carrier may drop off the package at another relay point within the network. The distance considered acceptable by the buyer will be 15 kilometers as the crow flies from their home.
Shipping abroad to the following countries: Germany, Norway, UK, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Sweden. Shipping costs are free for any order at least equal to the sum of €500 of any possible discount. The buyer is personally responsible for any possible internal legislation affecting the delivery terms. In particular, he is responsible for any possible specific tax on incoming products. The delivery time generally observed is 3 to 8 working days from receipt by JAVAPUBLISHING of full payment for the price of the products ordered. Any order placed on the weekend is generally collected the following Monday or Tuesday, if in stock. To facilitate contact with the carrier, it is strongly recommended to provide a telephone number when placing the order. The UPS carrier will deliver the package(s) in person or, in the recipient's absence, will drop them off at a UPS relay point in the recipient's geographical area. A tracking number will be sent by email to the recipient, along with any other information necessary for tracking. If such a message is not received, JAVAPUBLISHING will provide these details (contact@javapublishing.com).
JavaPublishing reserves the right to suspend any delivery for weather reasons and to avoid any risk of deterioration of the Products and will inform the buyer as soon as possible.
The Products are transported at the buyer's risk. Upon receipt of the Products, it is the recipient's responsibility to check the condition of the Products and to make any necessary observations and complaints in the event of breakage, damage, or shortages. This must be done by expressing any reservations on the delivery slip and within the legal timeframe, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the carrier, with a copy sent to JAVAPUBLISHING, in order to preserve their rights.
In the event of a delivery that does not conform to the order due to an error by JAVAPUBLISHING, and the buyer wishes to return the Product, the buyer may request an exchange or refund of the Product(s) concerned within fourteen (14) calendar days of delivery of the order by contacting customer service in writing (email or letter). After reviewing the complaint and JAVAPUBLISHING's agreement on its merits, the buyer will indicate the appropriate procedure. JAVAPUBLISHING will cover the return shipping costs, the amount of which will have been previously accepted in writing, and upon presentation of supporting documentation. The return of the Products and the refund will be made according to the terms and conditions described in Article 7. No refund will be made if it is revealed that the failure is attributable to the buyer.
In any event, delivery can only take place if the buyer has provided JAVAPUBLISHING with the necessary information.
