Estate and Terroir Overview
Produced by the El Grano estate, this Carménère originates from the clay-loam soils of Chile’s Colchagua Valley. Benefiting from a Mediterranean climate—characterized by sunny days and cool nights—the grapes ripen slowly, developing powerful aromas and a fine structure.
Winemaking Process
Harvest and Selection
The grapes are hand-harvested at peak ripeness to preserve the integrity of the berries and their aromatic richness.
Fermentation and Aging
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 months of aging in French oak barrels to impart complexity and roundness.
