Vignoble: C’est en 2002, après avoir travaillés en Alsace en tant qu’oenologues, que Morgane et Frédéric Schwertz fondent le Domaine des Maels, né de la contraction des prénoms de leurs filles Manon et Elisa. Situé sur le bord du Canal du Midi, face au village d’Argens Minervois, au sud de l’appellation Minervois, le vignoble s’étend sur 15 ha sur un sol calcaire à argile rouge répartis en plusieurs îlots : la moitié en appellation Minervois et l’autre moitié en vin de pays d’Oc. Il est certifié en agriculture biologique depuis 2010. Cette cuvée est issue d’un assemblage de plusieurs petites parcelles, situées sur une colline appelée Montesclat, qui veut dire « joli point de vue » en occitan
