Vineyard
Château Faîteau was founded in 1920. Located in La Livinière in Haut Minervois, it extends over the first foothills of the Montagne Noire, where the land benefits from privileged sunshine and an exceptional terroir. Jean-Michel Arnaud is the owner of these 16 hectares of vines.
Winemaking
Destemming after harvest with vatting for 15 days. During fermentation, pumping over and punching down are carried out. Aging takes place in barrels for 12 months. Once the final assembly was completed, aging in vats was carried out in order to have a perfect marriage before bottling.
Tasting
This wine offers a deep ruby color. Its nose is dense and complex, with a floral, spicy and fruity side. On the palate, it has a beautiful concentrated and complex whole, with a frank attack with dense, creamy and voluminous tannins. In the finish, we find spices and macerated fruits accompanied by notes of mocha and coffee bean.

Service advice
Serve it at 16°C with game and red meats in simmered sauces. It will also go well with tagines and cooked cheeses.
