The Château's vineyard extends over 5.5 hectares, located in one piece in the center of the commune. As in Pomerol, the soils are covered with alluvial gravel and rest on a vein of ferruginous elements mixed with heavy clay. The clay soils give it a particularity and give this vintage power, while the gravel soils give it finesse. The winemaker's priority is to obtain wines typical of their terroir, authentic. |
