Maison Capitain-Gagnerot Vineyard: From Dijon to Corgoloin, the Côte de Nuits extends over about twenty kilometers and covers an area of 1,500 hectares. The particularity of the soil in Côte de Nuits is its ancient limestone layer, called "Middle Jurassic", which dates back 160 to 180 million years. This cuvée is a blend of terroirs from hillside plots, on a geological fault where the subsoil is composed of deep, raw and limestone bedrock, with a little soil on the surface. The roots of the vine infiltrate the cracks in the rock and distill the minerals, essential elements of the fresh and crystalline texture of this wine with lively and chiseled tannins.
