Château Bel Air. This 9-hectare property is located in the commune of Montagne. Its vineyard is divided into two plots: 6 hectares on the clay-limestone plateau, with vines over 40 years old, and 3 hectares on a slope, with more clayey soils, with plants aged 15 to 20 years.
VINIFICATION
De-stemming and light crushing. Fermentation follows with long vatting of 4 to 6 weeks in concrete vats, with gentle extraction and little pumping over. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 6 to 24 months.
This wine has a bright color and is enhanced with purple highlights. It offers a nose with aromas of red fruits. It is round, with melted tannins and a long and fresh finish.
Serve it at around 16-18°C with grilled meats, a rib of beef, a woodcock, a duck confit or a guinea fowl leg with mushrooms
