Bertrand Letartre acquired Domaine de la Rouillère in 1988. Straddling Gassin and Ramatuelle, in the heart of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, the vineyard covers 45 hectares, comprised of 120 small plots, and benefits from the humidity of the sea air, which imparts a pleasant salinity. Cultivated organically, it will be certified for the 2025 vintage.
Winemaking
Harvested at night to preserve freshness. The grapes are pressed and the juice is fermented alone at low temperatures.
Grape Varieties: Predominantly Grenache and Cinsault, with a touch of Syrah and Rolle.
Flavor: Soft and full-bodied
Alcohol: 12%
Tasting Notes: A pale and brilliant rosé, with a delicate nose of ripe fruit, apricot, and peach, with hints of mandarin. The palate is structured, quite full and balanced, with saline notes and a fresh finish.
Serving suggestion: Serve at 8°C with Mediterranean cuisine, stuffed vegetables, summer salads, sun-dried tomatoes, bouillabaisse, and white meats.
