Frédéric Magnien - Nuits-Saint-Georges

Frédéric Magnien

Vineyard:
Frédéric Magnien is the 5th generation of winegrowers in his family. With experience abroad and a degree in oenology, he created his own wine trading house in 1995. The Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation is one of those with the most Burgundy wines. The vines that make up this vintage, whose soils come from gravelly silts descended from the Côte and alluvium from the Meuzin valley, are over 50 years old.

Advice:
A delight to accompany all meats, whether it is a grilled steak or a beef bourguignon, as well as cheeses such as Brie or Camembert.

Tasting:
This wine is full-bodied, concentrated and complex with a beautiful deep garnet color. On the nose, it offers complex aromas of toast, smoke and fruit. It reveals a rich and powerful attack on the palate, followed by a beautiful concentration and sustained tannins. A balanced whole, with a persistent finish.
