Château de Rayne Vigneau |
Appellation: Sauternes, 1er Grand Cru Classé in 1855 Absolute: 13.5% Blend: 80% Sémillon, 20% Sauvignon Blanc Color: Gold, apricot highlights. A great wine of noble rot, combining floral freshness, exotic notes, and candied flavors for a dense and balanced palate. A true aromatic lacework. Served at 10°C, it pairs well with foie gras, but also with John Dory with ginger, lobster American style, tempura shrimp, Creole chicken, duck à l'orange, a vegetable tagine with cumin, blue-veined cheeses such as Roquefort or Fourme d'Ambert, and with desserts, honey-poached peaches and orange salad. |
