Located in the commune of Saint-Laurent-des-Combe, the Château de Candale is classified as a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. It would have originated from a certain Lady Marguerite de SuffolkKandall, descendant of the English king Edward III who married Count Jean de Foix, allowing him to become Count of Candale. Since 2010, the estate has been the property of Jean-Louis Vicard whohas enlisted the services of Stéphane Derenoncourt's teams to write a new page in the legend of this château.
