Morey Saint-Denis

Maison Frédéric Magnien

Vineyard:
Frédéric Magnien is the 5th generation of winegrowers in his family. With experience abroad and a degree in oenology, he created his own house as a wine merchant in 1995. The vines he owns are on average over 55 years old and are planted on a soil of clay-limestone marl with white pebbles. This cuvée is produced thanks to the vines of the plot measuring only 3 hectares, located under the village of Morey-Saint-Denis between "Les Sorbès" and "Clos Baulet".

Region: Burgundy Côte de Nuits

Appellation: Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru AOP

Color: Red

Capacity: 750ml

Grape variety: Pinot Noir

Advice:
This Morey Saint Denis Clos Sorbé has a beautiful ruby color with cherry-red highlights. On the nose, it exudes aromas of morello cherries with hints of leather and a slight woodiness. It is enriched with more complex aromas, with spicy or animal nuances as it ages. Well-balanced on the palate, it has a superb structure, with notes of red fruits and liquorice. As for the finish, it is ample and deliciously fruity

Tasting:
Color: Delicate and brilliant purple color. Nose: Fruity aromas (cherry) that evolve towards notes of ripe fruits, almost kirsch. Palate: Full and fresh, nice liveliness

Serving temperature: 15-16
