Winery: Domaine Pascal Prunier Bonheur Vineyard: Domaine Pascal Prunier Bonheur was founded in 1983 by Pascal Prunier, the fifth generation of a winemaking family. At that time, his vineyard covered only 3 hectares. His vines are located in the communes of Beaune, Auxey-Duresses, Meursault, Monthelie, and Pommard. In 1999, he married Christine Bonheur. The combination of their two names gave rise to a renowned vineyard in Burgundy. Today, the vineyard covers more than 8 hectares. It has enough persistence to complement all kinds of puff pastries and enough freshness for shellfish or fish gratins. Tasting Notes: Clear and brilliant, the wine has pale gold highlights with iridescent green hues. The nose develops subtle notes of white flowers (jasmine) enhanced by citrus. The attack on the palate is direct, clean, and expressive, initially revealing lemony aromas followed by more complex brioche and toasty notes. The finish is mouthwatering and refreshing.
