Château Canon Chaigneau |
Vineyard: |
The Estate was taken over in 2020 by the Arconian family, associated with the Marin family, present on the vineyard for almost sixty years and still involved. They have been committed to an HVE3 approach since 2021 and wish to quickly move towards organic farming. Tour Canon is a cuvée produced on the Estate, from a plot selection and resolutely aged in vats, for a different typicity |

Advice: |
Poultry in sauce, a rump steak with pepper sauce or raw milk cheeses will go wonderfully with it. |
Tasting: |
This Château Canon is dense and very fruity: on blackberry, blueberry and morello cherry in depth. The mouth is reminiscent of black truffle, leather and spices, with suppleness and balance. Its beautiful tannins ensure it can be kept for a few years, but its freshness makes it very pleasant from now on |
