Vineyard: The very old vineyard of Châteauneuf-du-Pape experienced international renown thanks to the papacy installed in Avignon in 1350. He later became the first French name of origin in 1933, under the leadership of Baron Le Roy. The Cazes family completes its range of high quality vineyards by buying the Senechaux domain located in the heart of the prestigious appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape

A particularly cold winter which delays boning and flowering under a strong mistral, announce a late year and at small yield. The delay in maturity is about two weeks and in July, a targeted stripping on the cluster is decided on all the plots of white to optimize their maturity. The harvest takes place from September 16 to 22 under a nice sun. Excellent sanitary condition

Tasting: Light yellow dress with green reflections. Flatter nose mixing aromas of flowers and fruits with delicately wooded notes. On the palate, an aromatic power (flowers, white peach, spices) supported by beautiful acidity. Fresh, round, long with a touch of minerality that characterizes the white of Châteauneuf du Pape. A long and delicate finish.
