Château L'Enclos |
Denise & Stephen Adams they bought l'Enclos in Pomerol in 2007. The latter has 9 ha divided into thirty-eight plots on the western slope of the plateau, in the René sector. The sandy-gravelly soils support Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a hint of Malbec.
Vineyard: Since 2007, Denise and Stephen Adams have owned Château L'Enclos, located on the sunny western slope of the famous plateau of the Pomerol appellation. The vineyard has gravelly soils on a clay subsoil containing traces of iron - commonly called blue clay. The vines are cultivated manually and benefit from plot selection work. Château l'Enclos received its organic certification in 2017.

Taste Supple and velvety
Advice: A fillet of beef in a crust. Duck breasts with honey. A squab stuffed with foie gras. Lamb with tomatoes. Lamb with tomatoes and basil. In Pauillac milk-fed lamb. Duck aiguillettes with orange.
Tasting: Intense nose of blackberries and stone fruits, a floral touch of violet. The mouth is ample, with velvety tannins. The finish is long and delicious with an aromatic return of black fruits
